The above e-mail was sent by Joanne, one of the Pet Playground's owners. I came across this place via Groupon. It offers cageless pet hotel; your pet will be allowed to leave the cage during specific times in order for her to play and to stretch out! At least Your pet will not be bound in the cage 24/7. The fact that Groupon offers RM15 per night with combined Groupons allowed, i know this will be the best hotel for my Betty Diva!
It has been Betty's day 1 of stay but to date, i am very impressed with the service! I hope my Betty does not hurt other cats over there!

I'm April, owner a a fat cat named Cookie. I understand that you boarded Betty in Pet Playground...its the one in Ara Damansara right? I'm considering boarding my cat there when I go away, may I just confirm with you on its services? Is the place alright? Clean? did they take very good care of Betty?
Sorry if I sound a bit paranoid, but I am...I just read in the news about a pet hotel that left 300 cats to starve and some even died, so u can understand my fear in leaving my cat behind.

i heard about the devastating news too and i was worried whether it was my Betty's pet hotel!
Well, the thing is, my boyfriend sent her to the place. So i am not sure how it looks like on the whole but he did snap some pictures of the place and i'll post the pictures in the blog soon.
Otherwise, i think i am satisfied with the service. Joanne (one of the owners) has been sending emails every 2-3 days about Betty's updates. Tomorrow (6th September) will be Betty's check out and my boyfriend will be picking her up.
I'll update on that later too!

Hi there, thanks for responding to my comment. I'll be boarding Cookie this Thursday, leaving him there for about 5 days.
I should think that pet Playground is a decent boarding place, after all..my parents did go and check it our for me. But nonetheless, I'm still paranoid after I heard about the poor cats in PetKnode. I saw the photos, the poor cats...
Oh by the way, when my parents when to check out Pet Playground,I think they met your cat, Betty Yeah..funny right? Betty was out of her cage at that time playing.They came home and told me they met 'Betty', a very friendly 3 coloured cat. haha.

Hahahaha i think that must be her. She has checked out today and she has been meowing for 2 hours. I guess she misses the Pet Playground. And oh, my BF mentioned that Betty was more comfortable with Joanne than him! A really good sign of how it went.
Another thing is that she does not have that urine smell. Overall we are satisfied with the service!
I hope Cookie to have a fantabulous time as Betty did. I dont think the place will be crowded. Betty was the only cat there today, if im not mistaken. Oh, u can bring Cookie's favourite toys or stuffs along. perhaps u can share Cookie's experience there too.
As of petknode, i do keep update of the whole situation. It is such a tragedy and i hope one day our law will be on the victim's side.
