taisliur!

One thing that i love about Brunei is the food that they offer. Though Malaysia offers more varieties, price is one thing that i loathe about. You need to have at least RM10 to get yourself a proper meal and ice water especially that in Cyberjaya! However, this is not the case in Brunei since most of them are VERY concerned when it comes to spend more than $10 on a meal.

These are the food that i miss the most when Im in KL

KOLO MEE!

BUTTERMILK CHICKEN! EXTREMELY RARE IN MSIA

IDEAL SPAGHETTI. SIMPLY CHEESEEEEYYYYY!

Sugar Bun Nasi (with Raisin) + Crunchy Ayam Goreng!

SASIAAAAPPPPUNNNNNN...... =(

pre-exam ramblings

as always, life as a student will not be complete without nagging about the exams. since i've already been in this path for almost 4 years, im slowly getting immunised with exams fever. i am now relying on lucks instead of efforts to pass them. i used to be a student who would start revising 1 month prior to exams and would stay up revising and writing up notes. my memorising skills were unbelievable back then.

however, i feel that i've come to a point where i am totally exhausted with all those. my brain is slowly getting fatigued. come on Nani. this is only your undergraduate course. u still have AT LEAST another 10 years to go before you actually finish your specialisation. come to think of it, there has been a study which mentioned that of all the graduating doctors, only 10% will proceed for the specialisation. that is indeed a scary thought. will i be one of those 10% or will i end up being a GP instead?

of course at this moment, everyone is aiming to reach to the highest peak. but life does not work that way. i'm sure, once ive started working, i will be influenced by the external factors.

*sigh* sometimes, i feel like im actually having a depression. im not sure whom to be blamed. is it due to this tough and challenging course that im dealing with or perhaps with the university that i am stuck in?

till this date, i am still looking for the answer.

concert review: Babyface Live in Kuala Lumpur 5th March 2010

a whole night of R&B songs simply made the tickets worthy. Babyface is one of the best artists for this genre and no doubt, last night's performance proved it all further. Babyface certainly knew how to entertain his fans and this was potrayed best by the immense loudness of screaming ladies who were anticipating and wanting lurveee from him. other than that, he also filled the time by telling some humorous stories and made the whole hall to be filled with laughter.

I am extremely glad that he managed to bring out the what i called as "R&B feelings" while watching his performance. at one point, i thought i was going to lose my mind especially when he sang the "I'll make love to you". mamma mia! he left me breathless! thank God, my other half was right next to me to keep my sanity intact.

he sang for 2 hours and kudos also went to his band which performed outrageously energetic live music. Babyface's voice was undeniably beautiful and powerful though there were moments when he lost his voice. oh well, he's 51 years old and it was a LIVE performance! you can't expect him to sound exactly like the recorded ones.

anyway, Opening act was by Najwa. this was my 2nd time watching her performed. this girl truly got the voice though you could not help but to notice that she was slightly nervous interacting with the audience. well, i hope she doesnt stop here cause she really has the talent. her songs are catchy too! so, while waiting for Babyface's turn, Sarimah took some time to entertain the audiences. i think she did a great job and i think she could pull of jokes better in English than in Malay.

in summary, last night defined R&B very well. however, i was a bit disappointed that he mostly played his 1980s hits instead of those during my era. but it's sokay coz i know my head swayed the whole time with the beats anyway. well, thank you Babyface for the "great-wonderful-double thumbs and big toes up" night and thanks to Pineapple concert for bringing a sensational R&B star in KL. lastly, lots of thanks to my other half for the opportunity!

PS : pics will be uploaded soon. but it's all depending on the quality!

dreams

" tpi ani bnr ah

saya tidak tipu

when i wake up

i was like saying

i love u

haha"

30 mins ago, i received this chat message from an old flame of mine.

he mentioned that he had a dream about me. his interpretation on this was perhaps that he still has feelings towards me.

i don't really know to respond to this actually. dreams are something that even psychologists have difficulty in explaining on the phenomenons.

nevertheless, i know for sure i do not wish to revive the past. he still has a special place in me, no doubt about it. but i guess there is just nothing that we can do bout.

the chapter is closed, long time gone.
